Located in Dubai Marina, this apartment marks a new chapter in our Haussmannian reinterpretations. After completing our client’s residence in Cannes, we were entrusted once again this time to translate French architectural heritage into a more contemporary language. The brief was clear: preserve the soul of Haussmannian interiors while introducing softer, rounded forms and a more modern spatial expression. The result is a luminous, fluid interior where classical elegance meets sculptural modernity. Curved volumes, soft transitions, and subtle architectural detailing create a refined and serene atmosphere, perfectly adapted to Dubai’s light-filled lifestyle while remaining deeply rooted in French tradition.
The process
Inspiration & Artistic Direction
This project reimagines Haussmannian codes through a contemporary lens. Traditional proportions, symmetry, and architectural rhythm were softened with rounded forms, fluid transitions, and a minimalist approach. The aim was to create a space that feels timeless yet modern, refined yet welcoming.
Architectural Work & Custom Details
We restructured the volumes to introduce softness and continuity throughout the apartment. Custom arches, curved openings, and subtle wall paneling reinterpret classical Haussmannian elements in a more modern way. Every architectural detail was carefully designed to maintain elegance while enhancing spatial flow.
Finishes & Atmosphere
Natural materials, soft textures, and warm neutral tones define the atmosphere of this interior. Light plays a central role, enhancing the curves and highlighting the architectural depth. The furniture, with its organic shapes and understated elegance, complements the space without overpowering it—creating a calm, sophisticated, and timeless environment.
